Our college held a symposium for representatives of international students from countries along the Belt and Road

  On October 31st, the International Education College successfully held a symposium for representatives of international students from countries along the Belt and Road. Wu Yuming, member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, gathered nearly 20 international students from 14 countries to discuss the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. Relevant leaders and some teachers from the International Education College also attended the symposium.

  Vice President Wu Yuming mentioned in her speech that over the past decade, China has adhered to opening up its education to the outside world, comprehensively promoted the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in education, and continuously strengthened support for students from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative to study in China. She encouraged all international students to cherish the opportunity to study in China, study hard, diligently research, master skills, actively participate in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and strive to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and jointly build a beautiful and harmonious world. AL MAAMARI AHMED ALI ABDO, a Chinese government scholarship recipient from Yemen, and OKAKA DAVID, an international student majoring in MBBS from Uganda, spoke on behalf of all international students on campus. The participating teachers and students also watched a promotional video on China's Belt and Road Initiative construction together.

  Over the years, Hebei Medical University has continuously carried out international cooperation and exchanges with countries along the "Belt and Road", including joining the "Belt and Road" International Medical Education Alliance, launching the Asian Nursing Scholarship Program, jointly establishing a cooperative research center for congenital heart disease with Kyrgyzstan, and enrolling students for the "Silk Road" Chinese Government Scholarship Program, making continuous contributions to the educational initiatives of the "Belt and Road".
